What type of work do you do?
We can do Faux finishes, murals and tapestries...and we love
to find ways to enhance the architectural elements in your home.
In fact, just about anything you can imagine for your home, we
can help make it happen.
What type of surface can the work be done on? Walls, ceilings, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, metal...if it can be painted, we can make it beautiful.
How much advance notice is needed? The process is generally this: Meet with client /designer, usuallly 3 to 6 weeks before project is due to start. Discuss scope of project, colors, textures, ect. At second meeting provide samples, bid and schedule project. When project starts, begin by protecting job and surface prep. Depending on the size of the job, draws are given on Fridays. When finished, job site is cleaned. baseboards and any other surfaces are touched up if needed. When complete and client is satisfied, final payment is rendered.
What if I want more than one room done. How long will my life be disrupted? Edie and her experienced crew can take on many rooms at once so the process is quick and painless. They also emphasize neatness and are careful to protect both new construction and lived in homes.
Do you have a general pricing guide? Average pricing: $2.50 to $3.00 sft of painted surface area. Cabinets start at $25.00 running ft. Murals vary, depending on size from $400 for smaller type spaces, to $3000 for Dining room type walls. We can give a hand trowel plaster texture, paint and faux for $6.50 sq.ft. Surface preparation is important. We can prep the walls ourselves or work with the builder and painter to get them ready.
